What this site collects

Only what you give it, plus ordinary hosting logs. I don’t set cookies, I don’t run advertising or tracking scripts, and I don’t sell or share personal information.

The contact form

If you send a message, your name, email address and message are emailed to me and sit in my mailbox. They aren’t stored anywhere else on the site. I use them to reply to you, and they stay in my mailbox until you ask me to delete them.

The form uses Google reCAPTCHA to filter out bots. It loads only when you click into the form, and Google may use cookies or similar identifiers when it does. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms apply.

The chat

“Ask about my work” sends what you type to Anthropic, which writes the reply. I don’t keep a copy of your messages. Please don’t enter anything sensitive or personal. Anthropic’s privacy policy applies.

Analytics and hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. It uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following you across sites. Vercel also keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Your device

Your light or dark choice and your pause-motion choice are saved in your browser’s local storage so they persist. They never leave your device.

Your rights and contact

You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Use the contact form at kirkclarke.com/#contact. If you’re in the EU, EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
